Pursuit of Happyness [film review]

For this months creativity part of my CAS I decided to write a film review. The movie I chose is “Pursuit of Happyness” based on Chris Gardeners’ real life story, directed by Gabrielle Muccino. The main role (of Chris Gardner) was brilliantly played by Will Smith. I chose this film as it discusses family values in an unconventional way that leaves the watcher truly moved by the touching message. Pursuit of happyness is a movie from 2006 in the genre of drama. It tells about characters who stand together on a journey of Poverty in a highly industrialised world. The plot tells of a single father that struggles to make ends meet for him and his son. He is the creator of a new medical machine invented by him, but unfortunately he repeatedly fails to advertise and sell this device. ...

The Fondation Louis Vuitton is based in Paris, France, it opened in 2014 and was sponsored by the Louis Vuitton corporation. The building was designed by an American architect Frank Gary in the deconstructivism style. Although the initial budget was 100 million euros, the actual cost was 780 million euros, almost 8 times more than budgeted. The museum is perfect for modern and contemporary art lovers. The exhibitions in the museums are temporary and change twice a year. But what does not change is the architecture of the building which continues to amaze the visitors. Almost 60 years ago Egypt had closed the strait of Tiran, essentially backing Israel into a corner. Following these escalations, Israel had to hit back. Operation Focus On the early morning of the 5th of June 1967, at around 07:45am, Israeli fighter pilots carried out Operation Focus, a series of bombing strikes against the Egyptian Air Force. It resulted in the Egyptian Air Force suffering devastating losses, by noon the Egyptian Air Force and its allies Jordan and Syria were almost completely immobilized. On May the 4th at 8 o’clock in the morning when most of the senior students all over Poland were preparing for their Finale exams, MYP1 from Raszyńska IB started a long journey towards the misty mountains – Tatras. Comfortable buses with air conditioners and smiling drivers took us first to the nearest McDonald's outside Warsaw. We were more than happy to taste the multi ingredients fries and very far from “sugar free” milkshakes. Misinformation has been a vast and challenging issue throughout recent years, with the potential threat of it occurring only increasing. The impact of misleading information has been raised into the public attention especially in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic, with numerous hazardous unscientific practices and conspiracy theories gaining track. Economic sanctions are penalties applied by one or more states on a target in order to force it to change its behavior or to punish it for certain behavior. The most notable examples of economic sanctions may be that imposed on Cuba and, most recently, Russia.
